Domain Waitlist Service is pushed back

Verisign Global Registry service announced today that is was pushing back the date of the launch of its new Domain waitlist service. The WLS had originally been scheduled to be released Oct 11th but it is now scheduled for Oct 27th. Verisign declined to comment if the pushed date was due to a legal action pending against it by a number of registrars.
The ICANN Registrars claim that ICANN is in breech of their contract with them because it states that ICANN can't change the Verisign contract without consensus among the ICANN registrars. The consensus among the registrars was a loud NO, we don't want the WLS. But ICANN changed the agreement with Verisign regardless of that fact.
The lawsuit is still pending at this time.
